Fellowship
Every application for election and transfer to Fellow must be proposed by a Fellow and seconded by two other Fellows. Full Members who believe they meet the criteria for Fellowship should enlist the sponsorship of a Fellow who will help them make their application. A minimum of 15 IDE CPD points is required over the five years preceding the application.
All Fellows of the Institute are expected to achieve 3 CPD Points in each year. They are also invited to apply for an IDE Membership Card which displays a photo with their name, grade and Institute registration number. This is renewed annually provided that the requisite number of CPD Points are gained.
Fellows may also apply for a platinum or PQP CSCS Card providing they satisfy the criteria.
Providing their subscriptions are paid up to date they also have full voting rights in Institute business and may stand for election to the Council of Management
